The Story of Pastries.cc

Pastries.cc was founded in 2022 by four friends: Anthony, Josh, Michael and Elton.

We all share a love of riding bikes, demolishing only the best crossaints and diving into the kind of chat that would get us cancelled now.

At first, it was just us and a private WhatsApp group with a handful of close mates.

But as life got busier—work, parenthood, this ‘running’ thing—our little crew started to shrink.

To keep vibes high, we made a bold move in 2022: we opened up the WhatsApp group to the public.

Fast Forward to Now

What happened next was beyond anything we could have imagined.

Our WhatsApp group grew to over 500 members (seriously, does WhatsApp even have a cap?) and our Strava club broke through 1,000 members (getting the orange badge along the way).

The heart of Pastries.cc lies in our incredible team of ride leaders. These legends volunteer their time to map routes, lead rides and make sure every rider feels at home. Find out more about them in the ‘Meet the Team’ section.

Pastries, Partnerships, and Progress

In 2022, we dropped our first merch: the OG Attaquer kit and some seriously slick stickers. If you ride in Sydney, you’ve probably spotted them.

In 2024, we stepped it up with our first technical skinsuit with Cuore—because why not ride fast and get to the parkup before the queues form?

Along the way, we’ve partnered with amazing cycling brands like MAAP, Trek and CCACHE. We’ve also stayed true to our roots, working with our favourite cafes and bakeries to make every ride sweeter.

And we’re proudly supported by FIXX Nutrition, Oui Vina and Badgerwax—sponsors who believe in what we do.

Making Headlines

Our journey has even caught the attention of The Cycling Classics and the Sydney Morning Herald.

What’s Next?

It all started with four mates and a not too crazy idea.

Now, we’re a growing community that rides together, laughs together and eats way too many croissants together.
